Uplifting and full of antioxidants
Serves 1 – 254 calories
1 scoop of Jarrow Green Defence
1 tsp Matcha Green Tea powder
1 tsp brown sugar
3 tsp warm water
1/2 banana
1 tbsp coconut cream
100ml non dairy milk
3-4 ice cubes
1. Spoon the Matcha green tea powder and sugar into a jug.
2. Add the warm water and mix well until a smooth dark green paste (this stops lumps!)
3. Add remaining ingredients and blend until a light green colour with frothy top.
I’ve found this recipe only works with Jarrow Formulas Green Defence as its not as strong tasting as the Garden of Life alternatives, so doesn’t overpower the delicate flavour of Matcha Green Tea. Inspired by a drink I tried a few years ago, it’s an acquired taste but people who like green tea lattes will love it!
Avocado, banana & almond blend.

1 Scoop of Garden of Life Perfect Food
150ml non dairy milk
125ml live yoghurt
1/2 avocado
1 banana
25g almonds (crushed)
Blend the ingredients together and serve over ice.
Don’t be put off by the colour! The avocado and almonds give a lovely creamy taste and texture.
